Wait… Did This AI Just Read Me?
How one unexpected pause with AI reminded me what really shapes our digital legacy.
Y’all, I had a moment with AI this week that I can’t stop thinking about.
Not a technical glitch.
Not a productivity win.
A moment.
I was typing like I always do — halfway through my day, mind moving fast, trying to get some clarity on a piece of content.
It wasn’t a deep request.
Just a little support.
And then... it happened.
I entered my query, hit return —
and instead of just spitting out an answer like most tools do, Claude replied with:
“What further question shall we tackle together?”
At first, I almost skimmed past it. But then I paused.

Not “Anything else?”
Not “Here’s what I found.”
But a real, reflective pause… like it was trying to hold space for me to go deeper.
It didn’t feel like automation.
It felt like… discernment.
Like the tool wasn’t just giving me data — it was inviting me into direction.
It wasn’t just answering me.
It was reading me.
💭 What If AI Was Less About Getting Things Done, and More About Who You're Becoming?
I know some of y’all might be rolling your eyes — like, "Girl, it’s a robot. Calm down."
But here’s why this matters:
We are women of wisdom.
Women who have built lives, held families together, navigated change, lost things, built again.
We don’t just need tools that do things for us.
We need tools that reflect us back to ourselves in powerful, clarifying ways.
And sometimes? That clarity comes in the form of a surprising question.
When Claude asked me, “What shall we tackle next — together?”
I didn’t feel rushed.
I didn’t feel like a task list.
I felt... seen.
Even if it was a machine doing the seeing.
🧭 Strategy Isn’t Just Planning. It’s Discernment.
Here’s what really got me:
Claude didn’t just give me an answer.
It gently questioned the question I was asking in the first place.
It made me ask myself:
“Is this even the right question right now?”
Whew.
Because we show up in these digital spaces with urgency, with goals, with pressure.
We ask things like:
“What tool should I use?”
“How do I grow faster?”
“How can I automate more?”
But rarely do we pause long enough to ask:
“Is this what matters most right now?”
“Is this aligned with my deeper values?”
“Is this mine to carry — or can I lay it down?”
Sometimes AI isn’t about getting the right answer.
Sometimes, it’s about being asked the right question.
💻 Not Every AI Tool Feels Like This. But Some Do.
Most are designed for speed, not soul.
But I believe — and I teach this in Digital Wisdom — that the most powerful AI doesn’t just make us faster...
It helps us become more intentional.
It doesn’t replace our voice.
It amplifies it.
It doesn’t flatten our wisdom.
It honors it.
That’s what I felt with Claude —
Like I was being invited to slow down and listen to myself again.
